Italy Tour

Hi All,

We leave on Thursday for a Trafalgar tour of Italy for my wife's 60th birthday. We spend 2 to 3 nights in Milan, Venice, Florence, Amalfi coast and Rome for a total of 15 days. I'm taking my trusty 5dMKII and a 17-40 and 24-70 lens. I will have my Lowepro slingbag but a little concerned about whether I can take the bag into museums. I already know that I can not at the Vatican. I really don't want to check the bag, but I may have too. My gear is insured, but who wants the hassle of losing your gear on a trip of a lifetime?? Any suggestions from those who have had to do this? Many thanks in advance, really looking forward to the photo opportunities. Best, Bob
