Lenses with a tall focus cam gear ratio

I don't remember seeing a thread on this but if one exists please point me to it.
Has anyone else noticed that many lenses have manual rings that are geared to make very rapid changes to the focus with only a very small adjustment?
It wasn't something I noticed until I started manual focusing my 30mm Sigma. It is geared in such a way as to provide -very- fine control.
After recently having phenomenal success with 100% manual focus on the 30, I tried the same thing on the kit lens and it just blows past perfect focus without being able to provide the granularity necessary to nail it consistently.
I wonder if there could be a list of AF and MF lenses to see which ones have taller or shorter gearing.
I'll start:
Tall gearing:
Sigma 30mm f/2.8 e mount
Short gearing:
Sony kit lens e Mount
