I picked one of these up last weekend and after a couple of days sent it right back. Mine I think had a decentered element. The left side of my shot was really blurry about 1/3 the way in to the shot. The right side was a little blurry but basically the only "in focus" area was an egg shape pattern in the center.

Needless to say I ended up with a Sigma 30 1.4 for my walk around and I'm floored by the IQ and quality of this lens.
