Best way to sell

Hey all,

My father amassed quite a collection of M glass (and an M9). He's rarely used any of them but the glass more so as he use to own an M7. He's now in an assisted living facility with mid-level Alzheimer's. I'm trying to figure out the best way to sell the kit to help pay for his care. I've looked at Craig's List but have seen a couple other M9s hang out unsold for a few weeks. The M being a rather niche (and pricy) camera system, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I am a little suspicious of eBay but that may be unfounded. I could also sell to the local camera camera store (Glazer's in Seattle) but I'm sure I wouldn't get top dollar. Should I just though it up on eBay and hope for the best? Sorry, I know this is kinda dumb but I'd like to find a sweet spot between a quicker sale, selling for less and a longer sale finding the right person and getting a better return. Any insight would be much appreciated. I could add an inventory of his lenses if that would help (I haven't taken a full inventory yet).
