DMC-ZS20 firmware update not detecting bin file.

I am following this procedure

to update the firmware from V1.0 to 1.2 however the camera is not detecting the .bin on the root of the SD.
Has anyone succeeded in flashing a new firmware?
i have the NTSC version bought from ebay Australia from HK seller
