Out of ignorance Thom Hogan disses the P7700

Thom Hogan's August 22, 2012 entry in his web site is very critical of the P7700.

It is still front page , then will be in his archives.

Bottom line: as I read it:
He won't even review the P7700 because it doesn't have a 1" sensor.

He says the articulating LCD should be on the V1.

He has no understanding that the P7700 is for photogs that, at certain moments, don't want interchangeable lenes when they pick up a camera to go out and shoot.

He has no understanding nor mention of the importance if CLS, of which the P7700
can act as a controller. A major reason for my P7700 pre-order.

Do not be impressed by some camera reviewer if he leaves these two major considerations out of his commentary of the P7700.

I post this not to defend my P7700 pre-order but to counter the expressed faulty judgments of someone I held as a sound, well reasoned reviewer.
