Enercon E-101

The view was almost filling the viewfinder in portrait mode with the EC-20 added. With the crane elevated, (~120m lifting capacity) it's more than filling the viewfinder from my photo location, and I would need to swap the EC-20 for the EC-14.

The EC-20 gives an advantage over the EC-14 in picking up the distant details together with the ZD ED 300mm/F2.8.

I guess, I'm not alone waiting for a more modern sensor than the one in E-3 to pair this optical combination with.

The image is not cropped, just resized to 1200x1600 pixel, which you can view here in Original: http://www.dpreview.com/galleries/1099241813/download/2169625

You might be fooled with the perspective, since the rotor diameter is respecting 101m. These wind turbines are utilizing the newest technology, and having the highest nominal power currently used around here.

Paired with a hub height of 99m, still the total height over the terrain is below 150m, the ENERCON E-101 wind turbines doesn't need having to be classified as air navigation obstacles requiring high intensity white lights!
