Just to be sure about CS6 Bridge cache

I was searching for a picture and came across 1,000 small thumbnails of various pictures in the Adobe Bridge cache folder (who knew? lol) - I search on the subject and I think if I am read it right, I can delete these files, but before I do...... am I correct??
