Flash exposure question
Aug 22, 2012

How do you set up your camera when using your flash (whether it be the small nex flash or other flash using an adaptor)?

I am prodominantly an Aperture priority shooter, but have found that when Ive used the flash in this mode my photos are very over exposed.

Do you go full auto? full manual? use exposure compensation?

I rarely use the flash due to the cameras great low light capabilities, but find when I do need it, I struggle to get the camera set up quickly.

I need to read up on the best situation to use Auto, Fill, Slow Sync and Rear Sync. As its been a while since I looked at the theory.
