Yes, but the macro focus on the 12-50 is only good between 8 and 20 inches. And honestly I'd prefer a plastic surgeon use a fixed focal length lens when taking before and or after pictures.

As someone who's taken such pictures, keeping variables to a minimum is important and takes a lot of extra care when using a zoom. Someone looks quite a bit different at 12mm than they do at 50mm depending on subject distance. Keeping scale and perspective and color etc constant can be quite important.
