manual focusing L lenses?

Some lenses are near impossible to manual focus. Are the eos USM II lenses 24/1.4, 85/1.2, 135/2.0 difficult to focus manually? I want to sell my fd for usmII, need to know if there is a difference in manual focusing these lenses please.
