Canon 24-105 L Sharpness Issue?
Aug 21, 2012

Hey guys,

This lens is mounted on my 60D. When I came home yesterday and uploaded the pictures to my computer, I realized a few of the wide-angle images were blurry. If you didn't zoom in, you wouldn't notice this imperfection. My question is, how come when I shoot wide-angle shots the background is blurry same as my subject which is in the background. I believe I shot the image at 1/100 or 1/120 @ f8 or f14. The ISO was set to 320 or 400, one of those 2. Maybe it was me hand helding the camera taking the image, and then it shook I'm not sure. Is there a way to tell it's my lens or was it a error on my end from shooting at such a slow shutter speed and causing camera shake?

Here's my one image that came out sharp, but this was taking with a tripod.

Here is an image that is blurry slightly, zoom in to see.

Thank you in advance.
