This Canon EOS 500D and EF-S IS 18-55mm lens are in very good to excellent condition and function excellently. No scratches, dents, dings, etc. I'm the original and only owner. I bought this camera in July 2009. I'm only selling because I just bought a Canon EOS 60D as an upgrade. I would love to keep this terrific 500D as a backup, but I need to sell it to help cover the cost of the new 60D. This will make an excellent backup camera for someone with another Canon EOS. It will also make a terrific entry level dSLR for someone moving into dSLRs.

I baby my cameras, so as you can see from the photos below this camera is in pristine condition.
