Really good ballhead

I have been looking at this for a long time, although right now I use a cheap B1 ballhead made in you know where. But that thing won't lock down for beans. I am ready to put real money into a head. I have a Manfrotto 55XPROB tripod. A little heavy, but sturdy. I don't backpack or carry the tripod for long distances, and my F150 has no trouble carrying it.

So I want a GREAT ballhead. I am looking at the Arca Swiss B1 and a Really Right Stuff, probably a B1 size as well with screw clamp, not quick release (I wonder how well the mid-size would do). Really Right Stuff is Really Expensive. I also looked at Markins. I don't want something "almost as good" or something that "as long as I don't whatever it will be fine". I want GREAT. I don't need frills like quick release unless it makes the head better. I do want Arca Swiss compatible.

About as heavy as I get - D800E w/300mm F4 AFS lens and TC14EII. But someday I might win the lottery and buy myself a 800mm f5.6.
