Robert, Mark from Plustek here. How did you make out with the installation?
The vast majority of the time the OpticFilm scanner can co-exist with other imaging devices on your PC. I have about 10 different Plustek scanners, a few competitive scanners and an AIO installed on my PC wiithout any problems. However, every once in a while there is a conflict during the installation. I think this happened the most in the Vista days. Anyway, you can re-enable or re-install the other imaging devices after you install the Plustek scanner.
The restore point is a good idea, but if there is a conflict, the symptom is that system doesn't see the Plustek scanner when it is attached. The install does not screw up the other imaging devices.
Let me know how you made out.
