SD1M (or anything) and up-rezzing...
Aug 20, 2012

Hi Folks.

I have been trying to figure out an optimal way to up-resolve the output from the SD1M, but which might be applicable to that of other models.

Below is a picture I took today of a local bowling green, and below that is a link to a file where I have taken sections from this picture and enlarged them to 200% using various methods. Though the methods are indicated in the linked file (and apologies if it takes a wile to download), I will list them as follows, looking left to right:

1. Saved in Spp 5.x using the "double size" option.
2. Image size 200% in CS2 Photoshop using only "Bicubic" interpolation.
3. Image size 200% in CS2 Photoshop using "Bicubic Smoother" interpolation.
4. Image size 200% in CS2 Photoshop using "Bicubic Sharper" interpolation.

Ta, atom14.
