Zuiko 400mm f6.3 question

Believe me, I tried a search before posting this.

A friend who was a long time OM shooter now uses Nikon gear, but still has a considerable stash of Olympus lenses. She asked if I might be interested in her Zuiko 400mm f6.3 lens for $100.

I'm inclined to buy the lens from her just to relieve a buddy of unneeded gear, but I wondered if any of you on this forum have had experience with this lens.
