Interesting Legal Judgement

Let's skip, from China because they buy our bonds. Some people think our government just prints it! It comes from people who work and then pay taxes, only then does our government spend it on stuff.

So what came first, people working or government spending, this is that old chicken and egg question. People working came long before taxes in the US, as people moved West, they worked together to build roads, bridges and towns. They worked hard, long days with the weak and sick left along the side of the trail. No, that would not work today and I wouldn't want to go back to those days.

Our government collected tax money from people to built the roads so people could drive to my business, but no roads would exist anywhere without people like me paying taxes.

Our government makes rules for all businesses large and small and if you want your own business you must follow the law or they will shut you down, even if you disagree with parts of a law because of moral, religious or personal reasons. I do not agree with a one size fits all law like the anti-discrimination law.

Two True Examples: Minneapolis Minnesota 2011, a company is placing special bike racks with rental bikes around Minneapolis, but they didn't put any in North Minneapolis (see #2 for why), the city council tells them to put bikes in North Mpls or take all your bikes and get out of town. They put bikes in North Mpls. #2; A mom and pop pizza place on the north side of Minneapolis stopped home delivery to an area in North Minneapolis due to their delivery guys getting robbed & beaten too many times and their cars stolen. The city council tells them to deliver pizza to North Mpls. or close your doors. The pizza place is open, they do not deliver pizza anywhere anymore, eat in only.

In both cases the city of Minneapolis claimed the businesses were discriminating against minorities.
