Is it too much to expect more from the Oly EPM1 kit lens 14-42 mm?

I don't know what it is, but every time I look at the photos this lens produces when I'm using Bridge, I feel like the performance is weak. I'm looking for sharp scenic shots. Posted online in a smaller res, they actually look quite decent, but when I'm in the editing software or blowing up the images on my 27 inch imac, I can't help but be extremely disapointed.

What do you think? Am I expecting too much from this camera and lens?

Album 1) I shot this album in A mode. I was not using a tripod, but I did have a ledge to get some support. No post processing applied:

Album 2) This is very similar to album 1, but I have at least one photo taken at each f stop. Again, I was pretty disappointed at how many images did not look sharp:

Album 3) This shows some of the depth of field this lens is capable of. There are some nice shots, but I wouldn't really say any one is super sharp.

Album 4) Just a couple sample shots of water and other shots that i consider among the best of the batch (mostly shot at f10).
