16:9 Aspect Ratio on 60D

Is there a setting on the 60D that would allow me to take pictures at 16:9 aspect ratio on fully automatic setting? I saw the 60D manual but it seems that this setting is available on manual modes only. I'm not that proficient on manual mode yet. Perhaps you can guide me on how to do it in manual mode but in a easy way. Thanks.

I took some pictures in P, just to test and see how they fit the HDTV and they fit well but the pictures where really bad taken. Blurry, out of focus, not clear at all. Definitely I had to learn how to set things manually.
I want to fit a 1920x1080 HDTV perfectly.
