Why? If the lens is APSC (like the 16mm) the fullframe Nex camera will auto crop it as APSC. That's how Sony's A-mount full-cameras work. If you mount a DT lens (which is APSC only), the camera goes into crop mode

The crop solution is obviously possible. But there isn't much point in a FF camera without FF lenses. And we all know that Sony already has trouble delivering E-mount lenses for APS-C, and that most of their wide-angle offerings suffer from optical problems already for this smaller sensor size...

Honestly I hope this FF rumor is wrong and that Sony focuses on developing good glass for the APS-C Nex system instead pulling a communication stunt.

Unless it's a hybrid camera, which can support all A mount glass (SLT adapter..) to make better use of the FF sensor surface. Not to mention legacy glass.
