G3 or GX1 for street?

I don't own a Panasonic (yet) but I'm seriously considering the GX1, especially with the current £50 cash-back deal. I'd put a 40mm (equivalent) pancake on whatever camera I end up buying.

I've been eyeing up the GX1 but the G3 has an EVF. Any thoughts on either of these as a fast, discrete street camera?
