Hmm, comparing Foveon with film kind of puts it in perspective. Film is equally limited to only one ISO, and a few shots per roll, but it doesn't have any of the other Foveon flaws. Maybe film is the way to go for people impressed by the good qualities of the Foveon. I'm going to have to give that some thought.

Do the Sigma DP1 Merrill and DP2 Merrill cameras still have advantages over film, when you consider problems with banding, low battery life, and limited lighting capability? The only advantages I can think of are instant feedback through chimping, and the lower processing costs (in time and money).

Thoughts?
