Which wide angle for cropped sensor?

Looking for input ...
Shooting a K-M 7D (yep ... I know ... old technology) which has an APS sensor. My old Minolta 35-70 is not wide enough for some of my landscape work with the 1.5x crop factor.
I'm looking to rent one or two wide angle lenses to try before buying one. From the rental websites I've seen, choices typically include Sony 11-18mm, Tokina 11-16mm, Sony 16-35mm, Sony 18-55mm. Only the 18-55 has a full review on dpReview.
Where would you start for a good all-around landscape wide angle? I know the two wider lenses will leave a gap to my 35-70mm, but the two longer lenses only get down to 24-27mm with the crop factor.
