Sony HX5v vs HX30v

Thanks Ryan, I'm leaning more and more into buying this camera, not sure why they don't sell the 30v (with wifi) in Europe yet so i'll have to get it on a trip to the US.

I see in some of your other posts you recommend taking pics at lower resolutions than the pixel packing 18mp, which resolution setting do you recommend in terms of optimum pic quality based on your experience so far? Memory space isn't an issue, i have a big hard drive :-).
