Browse photos via connection kit on iPad?

Is there a way to browse photos on the SD card via the camera connection kit, without transferring the images to the iPad? I have a 32 gb iPad, but its mostly full and I'd like to pop the SD card in, review the images on the card, perhaps delete the bad ones and then put the SD card back in the camera and continue shooting.

Transferring, review, then deleting all of the files seems to be a waste if I only want to review.

Any ideas?
