F200EXR-possible moisture damage-not sure-purple haze

I am at the beach and have my trusty F200EXR with me. I am not sure if it got a tiny bit wet, but it is no longer working. I took two pictures earlier in the day and they were fine. I had it in my pocket just around the house. It will turn on and I can go through the menu and the menus are clear ...but no luck when I am trying to take picture. It looks like purple lines/haze with no discernible form. There is absolutely no color other than purple on the back LCD when I am trying to take picture. Is the camera toast? Anything I can do?
