My only comments concern the control schemes and viewfinders on the bodies you've listed. The D5100 controls and VF are much different than those on the D90 and the D7000.

The 5100 control scheme will constantly force you to fish through the menus to change basic parameters. These include ISO, drive mode, AF style, bracketing, etc. One customizable function button cannot overcome this.

The other issue is the 5100s pentamirror VF. It is tiny and dim compared to the D90 and D7000. It's particularly annoying in light of the outstanding low-light properties of the 5100 sensor.

If I were in your position I would skip the used 5100 and save for the 7000. We are getting close to a 5200 release, and that is likely to drive 5100 prices down quite a bit.
