Problems connecting a Nikon D4 with MAC using CF

What do you mean by "Does not recognize the data" ? It can read the CF card at all ? It can't open the .NEF files ?

Have you tried shooting in JPEG and transfering files to your MAC. If you succeed, then it is definitively the software that you're using ot open the .NEF files that is the problem
What software are you using ?

If it can't read the CF card at all, did you format the CF card in the camera or on the PC ? Maybe if you try to reformat the card in the camera this could solve the probem ?
