2012 Luftwaffe Day in Everett

The weather cooperated but the gremlins were busy at the Flying Heritage Collection 2012 Luftwaffe Day in Everett, WA - Aug. 11, 2012.

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 did not even start its engine.

The Focke-Wulf Fw-190 A-5 taxied to the runway -

• but then developed problems so never took off and taxied back to the hanger -

The Fieseler Fi 156 C-2 Storch had better luck and put on a show for the crowd -

Olympic Mountains in the background -

And just after the show, several FA-18s from VMFA-314 "Black Knights" squadron passed by and took off from Paine Field.
