Week in Adirondacks for Autumn Colors

Any advice on where to stay? Here is our current idea for the trip:

Monday - Boldt Castle:

We're not sure if we should stay more than a day in the Alexandria Bay area where Boldt Castle is located, so it seems like we'd just want a quite place to stay for one night.

Tuesday-Sat: St Regis Canoe Area/Ausable Chasm/High Falls Gorge/Hiking in Area...

We're most interested in a good home base for outdoor activities Tue-Sat that is quiet, has good food options, comfortable beds, and nice views. Electricity is important for charging the camera batteries, but television isn't.

We're considering White Pine Camp which seems to meet most of our desires, but seems a little further away from restaurants and the sites mentioned above.
