Help! Red line at the end of every photo

Just purchased a D800 put my Nikkor 50 1.4D lens and all results came back with a red line following a tiny black space following it. I also got the same results with the 24m 1.4G lens. its almost like its not getting the full frame or the shutter is not shutting completely? maybe I am missing a setting that can help this? any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
