Thanks for the replies. I'm kicking myself for not doing it before the warranty was up on the D7000. When I was using the LensAlign I was using an SB-800 Speedlight...had it on single point autofocus mode, was using a tripod and a remote to trigger the shot. Results were all over the board. I'm excited to see how it performs after service. I'm a little bummed that I've had this amazing lens and camera body and possibly been receiving subpar performance from them. My Nikon 70-200 lens always seemed to performed better than the 24-70 but I never thought it performed to it's full potential. I wrote it off as my skill level was holding it back.
