Cleaning sound of a NEX?

My A100 made a fluttering sound when I turned it off to clean the sensor, so did my A700, and so does my A77. For the life of me I can't remember if my NEX 5 did, but my NEX 7 shuts down in silence.

Is that silence the way it is supposed to be? Thanks in advance.
