Is there firmware fix for E-M5 & Panasonic lens lockup problem?

The E-M5 has a problem where sometimes it will lockup when a Panasonic lens is mounted and the camera goes to sleep. When this happens you must remove the battery to unbrick the camera. See this thread:

On 7/11 Olympus released firmware update 1.2 that many hoped would fix the problem:

Unfortunately, a few days later Olympus pulled 1.2 because of some problem. You can see the Olympus statement about it here:
http://www.olympus.co.jp/...rt/imsg/digicamera/download/software/firm/e1/#omd
The update service to Ver. 1.2 was temporarily discontinued. The update service to Ver. 1.1 is available.
I don't really care one way or the other what is wrong with 1.2. All I care about is that I want my E-M5 fixed. Maybe 1.2 would do it, but I can't get it. Has anyone heard if a 1.2.1 or 1.3 release is coming soon?
Also, there is this news on 6/12 about another E-M5 problem that is supposed to be fixed:
Has anyone seen anything more from Olympus about this?
