In reply to mrjamesabels, Aug 9, 2012

An example here is I wanted to focus on the moon and exposure bracket it then focus on the foreground (Pier) EB and blend together. But, I couldnt achieve critical focus on the moon because im usually shooting with a WA lens. The moon is very tiny to focus on in my viewfinder. This is where live view comes into play. It wouldnt be a problem if the moon was in the center of the frame but that isnt the case. Im not going to break composition to focus and recompose. I just want to zoom in and move the zoomed in part to an object anywhere in the frame when using live view to manual focus. Dont tell me this isnt possible!
