Used D4 on Ebay

Hi, I am starting to see some used D4s popping up on Ebay. While I am all about saving some money, but am a little suspicious of the bodies having the dreaded PD autofocus issues..., but not sure how prevalent this issue is with the D4 when compared to the D800. I am also a bit weary about what would motivate someone to sell so early in the production run if there were no issues with their camera.

I am curious to see if anyone would purchase a D4 from Ebay at this point.
