Though I agree that the RX100 is a turning point when it comes to IQ for compact camera's the lowlight capability is still limited. When you compare the RX100 to m43 you should include the use of fast primes with m43. The focal length say from 35 to 45 mm eqv. is a very common focal length and therefore an important one. When you compare the RX100 to m43 with the Pana 20mm we see a big gap in max. aperture approx. f3.0 against f1.7! This has a tremendous effect on low light/indoors capabilities as well as shallow depth capability (the latter combined with the bigger sensor of m43).
