Canon 35mm 1.4 on Clearance

I was at Wolf Camera yesterday asking about the 35 1.4 and was told they have it on clearance for $1183. They did not have stock at the location I was at though.

Does this mean the 35 1.4 is getting a refresh soon? Thoughts?
