Hi all, I'm just popping over here from the NEX forum as im considering getting the phase detect a mount adaptor for it (for faster auto focusing). The issue I have is that I want to use it with longer focal lengths but the NEX has no stabilisation.
Is there somewhere I can find a list of what a mount lenses have in lens stabilisation?
My understanding is that none of the Sony lenses do, but some of the third party lenses are stabilised.
There might be one or two Sigma lenses for A mount with there stabilization.
But, there are none from Sony, Minolta, Tamron or Tokina. All of those lenses rely on in body stabilization when used on the Sony Alpha bodies. Most of the Sigma lenses also have no stabilization, even most of those that do have in lens stabilization on Nikon or Canon mounts do not for the Sony A mount.
