Storage/viewer for a trip to Yellowstone?
Aug 7, 2012

Hi -

I'm planning a 2 week trip to Yellowstone / Tetons with my D800. I'd prefer not to take my laptop. So I'll have 3 32GB cards and think it would be better to get one of the 500 GB photo storage/viewers instead of buying more cards. Anyone have some advice?

Additionally, I have a Nikon 300mm f4. The longer Nikons seem out of the question. So is it worth buying one of the Sigma zoom lenses?

Finally, on the wide end I have the 17 - 35 f2.8 and the 24 - 70 f2.8. Now I rarely use the 17-35; is it worth taking along? I tend to think "stitch" rather than "17 mm" so any advice there as well?
