forgot to mention, in Av mode the shutter speed was not limited by x-sync (see my answer to Corne Ferreira):

Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/80
Av( Aperture Value ) 8.0

I'm puzzled...
