The export sharpening did it... thanks to all.

I have also taken to heart the advice on not oversharpening. I'm able to match the G3 at +2 by exporting for glossy at high. However, I'm leaning towards exporting for screen and setting the G3 sharpening to zero. I don't do much printing, and for the few prints I do make I can always do another export. Our desktop PC "monitor" is a 40" 1080p TV, although most of our viewing is in the family room on a 50" 720p screen. Please take a look below and let me know in your considered opinions if you would agree that the slightly softer "sharpened for screen" images present more pleasingly... the upper image is sharpened for print, the bottom image is sharpened for screen. I realize colors are a bit too vibrant on the landscapes... I did my initial LR work on a laptop with dull screen and need to pull back on saturation/vibrance.
