Re: XPS 8500 - ANYONE have a PCIe 1x eSata card working?

Yes - engineers have been able to reproduce - and there are some folks trying out cards sent out by Dell to help characterize the problem. A number of the cards which were originally reported as not posting are Win7 certified - which seems to point to a hardware or firmware issue with Dell.

My hunch is that they will take care of the folks who are experiencing this problem. Some folks have had three motherboard replacements while trying to resolve this. From my POV, Dell is stepping up and taking ownership of the problem.
