Bring reflex hanging from neckstrap aboard airplanes?

You also forgot about baggage handlers playing slam dunk with suitcases...

Unfortunately my carry-on is reserved for other items, can't stuff a DSLR in there...
I'll use a cellphone then, or borrow a bridge from a friend.
