Grey or uk ?

There is an alternative to buying from the 'grey' market with all the uncertainty that supposes -- will I be 'stung' for VAT and what kind of warranty is there?

I've just bought a Mark III from a Canon dealer in Belgium. It is significantly cheaper than buying in the UK -- though not quite the saving you would get from sourcing from HK.

But you get a full European warranty which is 2 years rather than the measly 1 year offered by Canon UK.

For me it was a no brainer.
