Getting close (macro)

A while ago i posted a few attempts at macro photography taken with a lens reversed, held in place without an adapter by my hands, although the results were pretty interesting, at least to experiment with, this is more along the lines of what i wanted to get, and much less cumbersome. Shot with a pentax smc m 50 1.7 and 32mm of extension at f16-22, hand held, pop up flash. Any recommendations on a diffuser for pop up flash for macro, i found the highlights can be a bit harsh and its difficult to not have a "flash"look.
