Schönbrunn Palace with the Sigma DP2M

|
Today I got the Sigma DP2M and made a first trip to nearby
Schönbrunn Palace to test it out.
Some observations:
have not found any banding even when significantly boosting shadow areas
cyan magenta blotches can become an issue in boosted shadows, in heavy cases I use Topaz DeNoise 5
sharpness across the frame is extreme
battery life is really poor (I haven't run it down, but the indicator switched to a 1/3 power after about 50 photos with intermediate reviewing)
focussing is slow (hunts back and forth to find focus; this is without limiting search)
Having said all this.... I like it a lot (although I will also buy the DP1M since I prefer the wider angle view). Below find some samples.
Greetings,
Robert F. Tobler
