Don't forget (and mostly for others who might still exhibit the problem) a few bodies did exhibit problems with light below 5000K. Nikon has since corrected this and that procedure doesn't seem to have been in place when you had your D7k. With that in mind, your experience may be far less apt to be the case with an adopter now. That's why when asked, I feel it very unlikely a new D7K will perform poorly in terms of AF due to body hardware/software problems. Things have changed and like all things Nikon/Canon....it keeps getting better
