Europe with D700/24-70

while 24 is good for landscapes....

take the widest lens you have because some cities, like Munich for example, do not have wide open boulevards and so you'll end up having tall buildings leaning backwards

and also a short prime telephoto

but most of the time 24-70 will be enough, but those important times you'll wish you had something wider.
